Lower Prairie Camp
Log cabins surrounded by poplar trees overlook the scenic Prairie River.
Our log cabins at Lower Prairie accommodate three guests each. The cabins are solar lit with separate cabins for showers, toilet and laundry. There is a centralized cook house (which comes complete with one great cook!). Lower Prairie Camp is also equipped with a walk-in meat cooler.
Mineral licks, within 10 minutes walk from camp, offer superb wildlife viewing. These licks attract large numbers of elk and moose as well as a few caribou and deer. The river sports abundant Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling. The stream fishing in this area is also excellent.
