Big Nine Outfitters has won “Biggest Ram of the Year”
9 times in the past 13 years of attending the Northern BC Guides Association trophy competition.

Congratulations to Jeff Keim (pictured left), his ram harvested September 2011, is the largest stone sheep taken in the last 41 years. It is officially placed at #6 all time in the Boone and Crockett record books.

Although this hunt is primarily for Stone Sheep, other animals may be harvested providing the hunter has a species license for the animal(s) and the season is open.

Each animal additional to the Stone Sheep will incur a fee payable in either cash, cashiers or travelers check (See Fees for Add-ons). If the animal is not taken, the fee will be refunded. Combination sheep hunts are available with pricing dependent upon species hunted (see rates below).

Most of our rams are harvested at elevations below 6000’. Timberline is approximately 5000’. On rare occasions we will hunt sheep at elevations of up to 8000’. Hunter success rate over the past 10 years have been well over 90%.

The Fish and Wildlife Branch have created a quota system on all Stone sheep. Because of this our sheep hunts are booked on a first come, first serve basis.
Hunters who are too late may have their advance payment returned or held over for the next season.
